Terms of Service

Welcome to Indie Chains, subscription software for independent founders, product teams, and website operators who want to discover reviewed sites, send contextual collaboration requests, exchange messages, and manage editorial placement workflows.

By accessing or using Indie Chains, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and remain responsible for activity that happens through your account.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, interfere with platform integrity, or harm other users.

Indie Chains sells access to subscription software and a reviewed member network. Membership may include site submission, manual review, discovery of approved sites, request tools, request credits, messaging, moderation, profile and listing management, and billing management.

Indie Chains does not sell links, advertising placements, guaranteed rankings, guaranteed traffic, or services performed by other members. Members independently decide whether a proposed collaboration is useful, lawful, and appropriate for their audience.

You are responsible for profiles, site listings, descriptions, URLs, logos, images, tags, placement preferences, requests, messages, placement URLs, and other content you submit through Indie Chains.

You represent that you own or have the rights needed to submit that content and that your content does not violate law, third-party rights, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or platform policies.

By submitting content, you grant Indie Chains a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, format, process, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate, promote, protect, and improve the service.

Site submission does not guarantee approval. Indie Chains may review a submitted site for clarity, ownership, quality, category fit, relevance, safety, spam risk, and compliance with these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.

We may approve, reject, hide, remove, limit, or re-review sites and accounts when needed to preserve network quality or reduce abuse. A paid subscription does not override moderation decisions.

Indie Chains helps members discover relevant sites, send collaboration requests, exchange messages, and record agreed placement URLs. Each member remains responsible for deciding whether to accept a request and for the content they publish.

You may not use requests or messages to pressure members, misrepresent an agreement, conceal sponsored relationships, create spam, or create placements that violate applicable law, search-engine policies, or third-party platform terms.

Indie Chains subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout until canceled. Subscription fees pay for access to the platform, discovery tools, request workflows, messaging, moderation, and related software features.

Creem acts as Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions and may process payment details, tax calculations, invoices, receipts, refunds, fraud checks, and disputes under its own terms and privacy practices.

You may manage or cancel your subscription through the available billing portal. A scheduled cancellation normally keeps access active until the end of the paid billing period. Access may end sooner for fraud, abuse, chargebacks, policy violations, or account enforcement.

Pricing may change as the approved network grows. If your plan includes an entry-price lock, that lock applies only while the relevant subscription remains active. If you cancel and later rejoin, the then-current public price may apply.

You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of your first subscription charge. We will generally approve a reasonable first-payment request when the account has not materially used the member network or when the first submitted site is rejected and you do not want to revise and resubmit it.

We may decline refund requests involving substantial product use, completed collaborations, abuse, fraud, policy violations, chargebacks, or repeated subscribe-and-refund behavior.

Renewal charges are normally non-refundable because members can cancel before the next billing date through the billing portal. Duplicate charges, billing errors, and service failures caused by Indie Chains will be reviewed regardless of the standard request window.

Approved refunds are processed through Creem as Merchant of Record. Refund timing and the final appearance on your statement depend on Creem and your payment provider. This policy does not limit mandatory cancellation or refund rights available under applicable consumer law.

To request a refund, email hello@indiechains.com from the email associated with your Indie Chains account and include the reason for the request. Do not send complete payment card details by email.

You may not use Indie Chains to break the law, infringe rights, upload malware, distribute phishing links, impersonate people or brands, misrepresent ownership, spam the service, evade enforcement, or interfere with platform security or availability.

You may not buy, sell, auction, broker, or demand payment for links or placements through Indie Chains; operate private blog networks, link farms, guest-post farms, or thin affiliate inventory; hide sponsorships; create pages only to manipulate search rankings; or promise guaranteed SEO outcomes.

The Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

Indie Chains may contain links to third-party websites and services. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, terms, products, or services.

Your use of third-party services, including Creem, Google authentication, hosting providers, email providers, and websites linked from listings or messages, may be governed by separate terms.

Indie Chains and its original software, design, branding, features, and functionality are owned by Indie Chains or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Trademarks, logos, names, and content submitted by users or linked third parties remain the property of their respective owners. A listing on Indie Chains does not imply endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.

Indie Chains is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, specific listings, links, collaborations, visibility, search rankings, traffic, revenue, or business results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Indie Chains will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, traffic, business opportunities, or other intangible losses.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Indie Chains from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your site listings, your collaborations, your subscriptions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

You may stop using Indie Chains at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms or created risk for the service, users, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these Terms as Indie Chains evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date on this page.

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the Indie Chains service operator based on its disclosed business or tax residence, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
